We are excited about the upcoming 2020 event on October 10 and will update this page as the event draws closer so be sure to check back regularly.
Projects
1. Silly Mountain
This project will involve cleanup and other various tasks at the park. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a rake or hoe as well as protective equipment like gloves and a face mask if you have them.
Meeting Location: Silly Mountain parking lot.
2. Focal Point Cleanup
The focal point cleanup will consist of weeding, trash pick up and clean up of the barrel cactus. Volunteers are encouraged to bring protective equipment like gloves and a face mask. Volunteers can further help us save money and give more to the community if you bring your own tools like a rake or hoe.
Meeting Location: AJ Focal Point Map Focal Point parking lot.
3. Community Cleanup
Republic Services has donated 4 dumpsters for a community cleanup. Residents are encouraged to bring any excess trash or yard debris to any of the three locations where dumpsters will be set during the Make a Difference Day event. This portion of the event will be available until the dumpsters are full.
Locations: 1 dumpster at Silly Mountain located in the parking lot and 3 Dumpsters at the AJ Focal Point (across from Flatiron Park). Please see the map below for locations.
