National Make A Difference Day was started to bring people in the community together to make a difference in their community and those in need. The idea caught on and has been celebrated ever since. If you are looking to Make a Difference in your community please join the Apache Junction Community Development Corporation, City of Apache Junction, local businesses and non-profits on Saturday October 7, 2023 from 8:00am until Noon for a day of giving back to your neighbors and community.
Make a Difference Day reminds us that with many of us doing a little, we can do a lot. Are you ready to make a difference?
When: Saturday October 7, 2023
Time: Gathering 8:00am until Noon. We ask that you arrive before 7:45am to sign in and get your volunteer t-shirt so we can start on time.
Where: Meeting Location: Focal Point (across from Flatiron Park).
The AJCDC Make a Difference Day will bring together volunteers from the city, faith community, clubs and organizations, non-profits, businesses and individual volunteers with a common mission to contribute where needs exist within our community. Work sites may include raking and cleaning up yards, cleaning up and organizing garages, park enhancements, trash pick-up, and more. Please submit a project for consideration or volunteer today.
