On October 10, 2020 the Apache Junction Community Development Corporation hosted its second annual Make a Difference Day event. The event, while scaled down due to the need for distancing during the coronavirus, still was able to accomplish its objectives of improving and enhancing our community. The success of the event was made possible due to the AJCDC’s wonderful partner, Kabat’s Frontier Ace Hardware. Keeping to its commitment of helping out in the community Kabat’s not only supplied tools for the event, but supplied them on short notice. Then even went a step further by allowing store employees to volunteer at the Make A Difference Day event proving vital in ensuring that the tasks at the two major project locations, the AJ Focal Point and Silly Mountain, were accomplished. As a steadfast partner, not just of the AJCDC, but of many city improvement programs Kabat’s Ace Hardware has shown its commitment to the community and we look forward to partnering with them in future events.
