We are excited about all our current projects and grateful to all our wonderful volunteers who have committed to participating this year. Below you will find information about what will be happening, where everyone will meet the day of the event and what projects you have been assigned to. This information is subject to change so make sure to check back before event day for the latest updates.

Volunteer Waivers

Having a volunteer waiver signed and ready to go for each volunteer upon arrival will greatly speed up the event and let us get started on time. Volunteer Waivers.

Meeting Time

Meeting time will be 7:30 am to 7:45 am so that everyone can get signed in, receive their t-shirt and get directions to their starting location.

1. Silly Mountain

Project includes; placing rocks along the sides of the trails, removing dead plants, clearing weeds and planting new cactus.

Meeting Location: Focal Point then to Silly Mountain parking lot.

2. Focal Point Revitalization

Removal of dead plants, planting new plants and general weed cleanup.

Meeting Location: Focal Point.

3. Neighborhood Cleanup Projects

The neighborhood cleanup consists of four 40 yard dumpsters that the general public can use to throw away trash and debris. The locations for each dumpster are as follows: 1st dumpster: S. Ocotillo Dr. and W. 1st Ave. 2nd dumpster: S. Desert View Place and W. 12th Ave. 3rd dumpster: S. Warner Dr and between W. 14th and 13th Ave. 4th dumpster: S. Pinal Dr and W 5th Ave.

Meeting Location: Focal point then to dumpster locations.

4. Think Desert at FlatIron Park

This is a child friendly project that will be making minor trail enhancements, plus painting and replacing rocks along the painted stone trail.

Meeting Location: Focal point then walking to FlatIron park
